Around the Corner is a holiday platform which wants you to discover the beauty of a holiday nearby. A holiday nearby is more advantageous than you would expect. Be open to the beauty and give it a try!

 

LOCALS

The booking process works the same as any other holiday platform but afterwards you receive part of the price back in another form of money. The amount of these so called Locals have a value of 1 Euro. They can only be spend on the platform or at the accomodations. The amount you receive depends on the distance from your home to the holiday destination. You can get up to 20% of the total price back in Locals. When you travel over 200km’s you receive the minimum of 4% Locals. The difference is used to buy trees and renewable energy sources to compensate for the CO2 produced of the trip.

 

With locals we give back to the community. If the accommodations make you join their activities or buy their goods, they reduce the discount they gave you. Your Locals can also be used to book a holiday at another time. You can also decide to give them to friends or family that haven’t been on holiday for a long time.

 

Around the Corner runs on transaction fees and a margin on the offered services. This results in a situation where we all benefit from an active community. By using Locals we offer a tool to make people stay nearby, save the planet and unleash the communities creativity!
